Our TEFL Course
We want to use TEFL as a tool for. Where most TEFL courses train you to be effective in teaching English to a non-English speaker, we have developed a course with the English teacher in mind. We provide holistic training for both inside and outside the classroom. It is our desire that the ESL teacher thrives in their new environment and in doing so becomes an excellent teacher and thrives at the same time! We have divided this course into three modules in order to achieve our vision of a more comprehensive equipping for English teaching.
1. Obtaining a TEFL certification helps you to teach with excellence.
2. In many non-English speaking countries English has become a compulsory school requirement, so it represents a great opportunity for English speakers.
1. Teachers are role models and placed in a position of influence to their students
2. Teachers hold a respected position in society– especially in non-western countries like China, South Korea and Taiwan, teachers are held in high regard and treated with special honour.
3. Teaching builds relationships with dozens of students, parents and co-workers that otherwise wouldn’t be possible.

1. Kingdom Advancement
This course is specifically for those with a heart to make the world a better palce through teaching. As an English teacher, one is in a unique position to serve another culture/people group through education. In many instances, one is living in a foreign land.
2. Excellence
Teaching English as a foreign language is a tremendous opportunity to serve people. Just as nobody likes to be assisted by a slack and unmotivated medical professional, so no student enjoys being taught by an uninspiring, lazy teacher. Within the sphere of TEFL we endeavour to serve people excellently.
We must add diligence to the task of teaching learners a new language.

If you enjoy what you are doing, then so will the learners in your class.
TEFL lends itself to creating fun and safe environments where language acquisition thrives.
4. Personal Wellbeing
TEFL often involves living amongst another cultures. Transition is considered one of the greater stresses we can experience. This TEFL course gives special attention to the topic of personal wellbeing and how to thrive in a cross-cultural setting.
5. Honour
Each person has also been gifted with specific gifts and talents. Because of this, each person needs to be treated with honour and respect. This applies to a classroom/educational context in many ways , one of them being the type of atmosphere we as teachers create in the classroom/learning space.
